Founder of MOTM
Hi, I’m Loren, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in the state of Texas. With a deep passion for mental health and well-being, I founded Meeting of the Minds, LLC to help individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges through compassionate talk therapy.
I earned my Master’s degree from Our Lady of the Lake University and am also proud to be a COOG (University of Houston). My experience spans a variety of settings, including the non-profit sector, where I worked closely with diverse populations in need of support.
I work with individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to each person’s unique needs. My therapeutic style is warm, empathetic, and client-centered, focusing on creating a safe, non-judgmental space for self-exploration and growth.
Areas of Expertise:

Founder
I’m Loren, the founder of Meeting of the Minds, LLC, and a therapist who believes in addressing the whole person—past, present, and future—to foster meaningful change. My approach is rooted in the understanding that healing happens through connecting with all parts of yourself, and I guide clients to unlock their potential for growth, peace, and self-empowerment.
In addition to my deep passion for therapy, I am happily married with a beautiful family. Outside of work, I love exploring delicious food, enjoying the arts, and watching a great movie. Life has taught me the importance of sacrifice, living in the moment, and letting go of control to choose peace. I understand that the journey isn’t always easy, but I want you to know that you are not alone in it.
Since August 2021, I have worked with individuals, monogamous and polyamorous couples, and families ranging in age from 5 to 76 years old. In addition to my broad experience, I have received specialized training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a powerful therapeutic model that helps individuals understand and heal the different "parts" of themselves that influence thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
Whether you're navigating challenges in relationships, family dynamics, or personal growth, I’m here to help guide you towards the change and peace you desire.
